Membership is open to agents whose principal business is in the acquisition and disposal of development land and property for residential purposes. Membership is not open to residential developers or to agents whose principal business is in the acquisition or disposal of houses and flats.
RDAS was established in 1995 and has approximately 225 individuals from in excess of 80 firms on the membership list. Members details appear in the searchable Membership Directory within this website and in a hard copy of the Membership Directory, which is updated annually and widely circulated amongst developers and agents.
We will, as in previous years, continue to promote RDAS and its members by sending out a limited number of hard copies of the Membership Directories to key property industry contacts and housebuilders. Members are welcome to nominate up to three people to receive the Directory (please provide name, title, address), although we cannot guarantee that we will be able to include all those nominated on the final mailing list.
The RDAS Annual Dinner and the Summer Champagne Reception have become firm fixtures in the industry social calendar. However, RDAS also organises regular CPD events, including lectures and site visits and a variety of social events in conjunction with residential developers.
A draft CPD and social programme can be seen on our Events/Diary page, but we are always open to new ideas and suggestions (please e-mail the relevant Committee member).

The membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Where new members join during the course of a year the membership fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis equivalent to the number of complete months remaining in that year.
A Membership application form is included within this website in PDF format which you can download. Prospective members should print off the form and send the completed form to the Membership Secretary, together with a cheque for the appropriate fee. Please ensure that all details on the form are clear and complete (including qualifications and status if you wish to have these included). Please do let us have an e-mail address and do let us know if you would like to become involved in the work of the Committee.
All membership applications have to be approved by the Committee, who meet bi-monthly.
The Society is run by a Committee that includes representatives from a wide cross section of the membership (see our Contact Us page). Committee members do not currently have a fixed term of office, but as and when vacancies arise on the Committee new members are elected by the membership as a whole.
